Whoever is packing their kits needs to be disciplined, demoted or fired.
Beware of missing parts, this is more than likely to occur. And they do not prioritize shipping the items originally missed, it may take up to two weeks for your missing items to be delivered, when the initial package only takes a few days.
Don’t put it past them to not include all of the necessary items even in the second shipping. Today I found the trigger assembly originally missed (delivered over 10 days after the initial package) was missing a trigger spring, making my entire kit useless.
This was such a negative experience. Their incompetence with packing and the deprioritization of reimbursed item shipping has ruined 3 of my weekends.
I promise to NEVER order from Palmetto again, as they have caused me too much stress. They do not deserve my business any longer. I don’t care about their reputation. There is a first time for everything, and it looks like I was the lucky winner. If i could rate them 0 stars, I would. Two thumbs down.
One of the better if not best place to buy a firearm and shoot at a range. I've been here plenty of times and everyone was polite and friendly.
I've bought a few firearms from here and they did price match and the salesman were all great. Treated me with respect and helpful with answering questions that I had. They usually give a free range pass when you buy a firearm from them which is great.
I come here for the range more than anything and enjoy the experience. Modern and clean facilities. And the guys working the range treat you like adults and are respectful. I've been to other ranges where I did not feel comfortable and relaxed at the range. And imo the range fees are pretty affordable.
There has to be a better solution to assist customers!!!!! Common!, every one behind the counter is ignoring you, unless you stare at them for 15 minutes! There is no line, no order, no one knows who is doing what?!
I waited an hour!!! Till i was like what a hell is going on with my order??? And they simply said “its been waiting for you all this time at the register.” What?!!!! What a hell?!!! Did anyone told me this? NO!!! No one there is respectful or follow through with the customer! No one cares! Horrible experience!!
Or implement a stupid number system, take a number, have a seat, wait for your number to be called, move on, how hard is that?
I have friends that will not go back to your shop because of this disorder!
Great store. 10/10 recommend to anyone in the surrounding area. It is well worth the ride out if you are in the Charlotte area and want a good selection or nice range. On my visit this past weekend, I was as helped by a gentleman named Blake and was very impressed by his professionalism and expertise. He did not pressure or rush me into any decisions like I have experienced at other stores. Great guy! Will continue coming here for all my future needs. Thanks PSA and Blake!
I buy from Palmetto State just about every week. They're a phenomenal company. I'm not overjoyed with their automated phone system (it does not give you an option to talk to a human being), BUT thankfully it is a very rare occurrence
Ordered a dagger compact, said it was in stock online, took over two weeks for the order to process, they finally created a shipping label but it’s been close to a week and it still has not shipped to ups. Trying to be understanding with the new year and holidays but whenever I call to get information on my order I can’t get through to a person to help me out
My 1st time going into PSA and WOW , I wasn’t disappointed ! Guns & Ammo everywhere. They had some great prices on ammo and I got see and hold the guns that’s on their website . I’ll DEFINITELY be back ! They have Fishing stuff also .
Recently I made a purchase online for in-store pickup. Having been to other locations in the past I had relatively high expectations dealing with this location.
Once my order was finished processing, and I was informed the purchase had been shipped to the store, I was told I would hear from the store when my purchase was ready for pickup. After several days had passed I attempted to get in touch with the store. I soon found out just how difficult of a task that was going to be. I attempted to contact the store several files without much success. During these calls the phone system would never allow for a voicemail to be left or even provide any prompt that nobody was available. Rather, the phone system would just abruptly end the call. After a few failed attempts in getting ahold of someone, I was able to reach someone outside of the firearms counter. I had them document my information so I could get a call back. Over 6 hours passed and I never received any call back regarding my inquiry. Frustrated at the lack of communication, I attempted to contact them a few more times before I was able to get anyone on the phone. The individual on the phone was able to help me out and confirm everything was ready for pickup.
When I went to the store to pick up my purchase I was frustrated about the lack of communication over the phone. However, I was kindly surprised by how helpful the team there was inside of the store. Everyone there was extremely helpful and made the entire transaction simple.
However, while I was there I did notice the phones at the fire arms counter were attempted multiple times and nobody bothered to pay any attention to them, despite not currently assisting a customer.
This location does a good job in person, however, I hope they can get things figured out a little better when it comes to communicating and handling customers phone calls.
